Marquis Spas is our premium spa manufacturer. Marquis
is one of the four major hot tub manufacturers that are considered
the industry leaders, and one of the two manufacturers with the best
reputation for customer service. Marquis features the best engineering,
best design, and best quality materials. Their prices, however, typically
run more than $1,000 lower than equivalently-featured spas from those
other brands. Some of the other major brands couldn't upgrade you
to Marquis quality even if you offered to pay them thousands more!
Marquis is our most popular brand, primarily because so many of our
customers come to us looking for quality and valueit's related
to our reputation and position in the marketplace.

Relax at home in your Marquis Spa. |
Marquis is particularly known for making the most comfortable,
beautiful, easy-to-use spa. They feature cutting-edge electronics
and software that produces clear, healthful water by automatically
adjusting to how much you use your hot tub. Marquis is owned by
its employees, but it's run by its engineers. The Marquis difference
is under the skin: balanced hydraulics, thoughtful jet placement,
attention to detail, highest quality of materials, a lack of "gimmicks"
that are likely to break. The quality of their fit and finish is
unsurpassed. That's why they provide the absolute best, no-fine-print
transferable warranty in the industry.
You can learn more from the Marquis website: www.marquisspas.com. Other sites that include bulletin boards are www.whatsthebest-hottub.com, www.spasearch.org, and www.poolandspa.com. Frankly, some of those bulletin boards are unruly and include spa salespeople arguing about who's lying to whom. Still, you will see that Marquis is universally respected for quality and standing behind their product. You will also see that our prices are about $1,000 less than what people around the country have paid for their Marquis Spa.

The largest parts department and water lab of any hot tub store in New England |
Our store enjoys a pretty remarkable reputation for quality, value,
and service. If you have not heard of our reputation, we encourage
you to ask aroundafter 25 years in the Nashua area, we are
well known. Or, have a look at our giant book People Are Talking
with hundreds of letters written to us by our customers. We have
the largest parts department and water laboratory of any pool or
spa store in the northeast. We service our spas with five of our
own factory-trained technicians; several with ten to twenty years
experience. We are the store that helps spa owners who have purchased
spas everywhere else, because we're willing to spend time helping
people who are going to spend less than $6,000 that day. Our commitment
to caring for every customer before and after the sale, and no matter
how much or how little money they may be spending, will be hopefully
seen even in your first visit.
We do not employ full-commissioned sales people, and we don't have anyone waiting to take their turn jumping on every person who walks in the door. We view our job as to help whoever wants help, not to make a sale at any cost. Our staff spends hours in classroom training every yearprimarily on technical and product knowledge, not on sales techniques. Our attitude puts us at a disadvantage compared to the more highly-trained sales closers in other stores. By the same token, many people respect our attitude and lack of sales pressure.

Marquis' patented vortex skimmers allow for a lot more room in your hot tub. |
Our prices are remarkably low for several reasons. First, we maintain
very low overhead by balancing our product categories to have no
downtime throughout the year. Second, we do not pay high sales commissions.
We pay very low bonuses, typically less than 10% of an employee's
total salary. Third, we are an owner-operated family business with
the owners working here in the store. We don't even have to show
a profit as long as Dennis and Jeanne get their salary! Fourth,
we pass every available discount and savings along to the customer.
Financing, shipping, handling, and volume discounts can vary the
cost of a spa by hundreds of dollars depending on when the dealer
purchases it, how many are on the same order, and how many are exactly
alike. Most dealers price their spas based on the highest that it
would cost. The salesperson then negotiates a price with you depending
on how much profit the salesperson wishes to split with the store,
how rich you look, and the actual costs of the actual tub that you
want. The price that you finally pay will depend on how well you
negotiate and whether you choose a low actual cost combination (truckload
order, cash discount, no storage, possible added incentives) or
a high cost combination (color or other options that require a single
spa shipped from the factory or purchased from a dealer 200-300
miles away).

Take
a half hour every day to talk
face-to-face in your spa. |
Our price structure has passed along every possible discount based
on the actual hot tub's actual cost for what you want. Taking a
model on which we have received discounts saves you money, too.
We are not charging extra when our costs go up, we are discounting
to you when our costs go down! This passes hundreds of dollars in
savings along to those able to take advantage of our volume purchases.
Our prices are low, honest, and the same for everyone. We're perfectly
willing to put them right on the display tub, and we'll give you
the entire price list to take home with you. No games, no pressure,
no "special quotes", no bull. And our everyday low prices
on our stock spas are easily $1,000 lower than you'll pay on the
exact same spa from a full-commission spa dealer. Add that to the
$1,000 to $2,000 that Everyday Hot Tubs and Marquis Spas save you
from other brands, and now you're talking some serious savings.
We guarantee that our prices are the lowest, for 30 days and 300
square miles. The details are posted right next to the cash register.
Finally, please try out a hot tub here in our store. We can isolate any running tub behind privacy screens. We have robes, towels, sandals, a changing room, and a shower available for youjust bring your bathing suit. Or, use the private hot tub testing room, lock the door, turn on the stereo and VCR, and no one will know what you're wearing! We can readily move water between tubs, and even move different tubs into the testing room, so that you can try out anything in stock. Trying to choose a hot tub can be difficult if you are just trying to add up numbers: pumps, volts, horsepower, jets, gallons, zones, amps, etc. Comfort, though, is still the bottom line. Make it easy on yourself. First, pick a store, then, try out a few tubs until you find the most comfortable one. Since this is probably the store on which you will rely in the future: for advice, parts, service, accessories, free water testing, etc. Why not start right here?
 |
Honest prices are on the spa, and in writing for you to take home. No negotiating or haggling required. |
P.S. You've probably noticed that we use the term "spa"
and "hot tub" interchangeably. Originally, a hot tub referred
to the first hot-soak vessels that were made from old wine barrels
in California, cut in half. Later, cooperages made new, larger hot
tubs as a side business from making wine barrels. Spas are a more
recent invention, originally made from formed fiberglass with a
gel coat that allows comfortable seating, complex jetting, and insulation.
You, the public, insist on calling all of them hot tubs (or even
worse, jacuzzis, which is a name that is trademarked by the Jacuzzi
family). We're not purists. If you want to call everything a hot
tub, so do we.
