The ECI brand continues to be our # 1 selling bar & pub vendor. As always, there are lots of new things so here we go………………..
The 78” Monticello bar has always been a successful bar for us and in the 2015 season this bar has now moved into the # 1 selling spot. It has officially kicked the Guinness bar out of the top spot! At $1,799 this bar is an awesome value which features a stainless steel dry sink, condiment trays, wine rack, one felt lined drawer and three doors for extra storage along with a laminated bar top. We introduced this bar last fall in its new standard finish of Distressed Walnut and I believe the finish change from Burnished Cherry has helped propel this bar to the # 1 spot!
The 65” Guinness bar in Distressed Walnut, which has always been our # 1 selling bar has now moved into the 2nd place spot behind the Monticello. The price of the Guinness bar is still $1,449 and has not gone up in price. I will continue to price match this bar with Jordan’s Furniture as they appear to be our only competition with this bar. If anybody cross shops bars it is always with the Guinness bar so we’ll stay at the $1,449 price point. This bar still has a lot of things going for it like the brass plated Guinness logo, wrap around footrest, stainless steel dry sink, adjustable shelves & felt lined drawers. We are also continuing to stock the matching back bar mirror and matching backed or backless stools that include the Guinness logo.
The 65” Dublin bar was introduced last fall as an alternative to the Guinness bar at a lower price point. This bar is an exact duplicate of the Guinness bar except that it does not come with the Guinness logo. Since there are no additional licensing fees associated with this bar we are able to retail it for $1,199 which makes it cheaper than the Guinness bar by $250. The Dublin bar has less bells and whistles but it still has all the standard things you need in a bar. It includes a stainless steel dry sink, two stainless condiment trays, stemware holder and a reversible shelf that will accommodate wine storage. (Only downfall, no drawers or doors for hidden storage.) We have backed and backless stools in stock to match the Distressed Walnut finish on this bar as well as the branded Guinness stools that are also a nice match.
The 52” Dublin Island bar was introduced last fall and got great comments due to its compact versatility. The only problem with this bar is that nobody bought it!! It also did not sell for ECI and they have decided to drop it from their line effective immediately. This bar retails for $1,099 and is shown in a Distressed Walnut finish. This island bar features a tempered glass top with pull out trays and a large end door for bottle storage as well as two felt lined drawers and stemware holders. We have matching backed stools available for $149 each and backless stools for $89 each in stock. Since this bar is discontinued we will put it on clearance once we get it back onto the sales floor.
We will again be stocking a 30” round pub table in Distressed Walnut that can adjust from 36” to a 40” height. This is a great table as it can be used as either a counter or bar height! This table will retail for $249 and will be shown with matching X-Back stools for $159. Last fall we introduced a second finish of Rustic Oak in an adjustable pub table along with a matching slat back stool for $159. This finish sold very well for us and we will again be flooring it for the 2015/2016 season.
Last year’s introduction of the 92” Ashton bar was a great success story. We were hesitant to bring in a larger scale bar at this price point but we ended up selling out of it so we will floor it again this season. This bar will retail for $2,299 and will be shown in the Distressed Walnut finish. It will be shown with matching backed swivel barstools at $379 each. The Ashton has an impressive 92” bar top with an antique brass clad footrest and rope twist pilasters. This bar features a laminate bar tending work surface, wine rack, stainless steel dry sink and locking liquor drawer on extra heavy metal glides. It also features two removable adjustable shelves that can be replaced with a wine cooler or refrigerator.
The second success story from last season is the 78” Nova bar in a Burnished Oak finish. This bar is retailing for $1,399 and will be shown with backless Monticello barstools that will retail for $239 each. This bar featured a laminate top, laminate work surface and wrap around footrest. It also will feature a wine-rack, stainless steel dry sink, two felt lined drawers and three doors for storage. **Please note that the Burnished Oak finish on this bar is not an exact match to the Rustic Oak finish we are showing on the adjustable pub table and stool set. Both finishes are a shade or two different from each other so you may not want to display them side by side in a room.
Another success story from last season is the Gettysburg. This new collection from ECI has been an overall success for them. They introduced five categories in this collection which includes dining, bars, game tables, pub tables & entertainment units. This collection has been so successful for ECI that they are predicting it will overtake the #1 spot and dethrone the Guinness collection. This bar also sold very well for us and I had to re-order it as we sold out of it fairly quickly once it hit the floor. The Gettysburg bar is a 72” bar in a heavily distressed Rustic finish and will retail for $1,899. This bar features a wrought iron foot rest, 3 drawers (1 large/2 small), pull out cutting board, laminate work surface, bottle opener (which is the coolest item on the bar), one door for storage and two shelves. The bar will be shown with a matching all wood slat backed barstool for $229 each.
So the first new item this season from ECI is the Gettysburg Island bar. As I said before the Gettysburg collection has been a huge success for ECI and this is just one more item to add to the collection. This unique item has multiple functions!! It can be used as a serving bar in a dining room, a counter height island in a kitchen or a walk up bar in a game room. This island bar features a full extension drawer, bottle opener, towel rack, glass holders and a large bottom shelf with enclosed sides for liquor bottle storage or miscellaneous items. This bar will retail for $1,099 and will be shown with counter height saddle stools with brown bonded leather seats for $119 each.
The second new item from ECI is a bar height Guinness pub game table. This is a 36” flip over game table that features a bonded leather playing surface, cup holders and a sharp, stylish base. The dining side top features a walnut finish veneer and the leather side features the Guinness logo. The table is shown in the Distressed Walnut finish (which matches the Guinness bar) and will be shown with matching 30” backed barstools. The game table will retail for $719 and the backed barstools for $319 each.
The last new item is the 52” Lexington bar. This bar is shown in a rustic Jacobian black oak finish and features a canted front with a wooden footrest, large bartending work surface, removable wine rack and doors with shelves for extra storage. It will retail for $1,199 and will also be shown with matching barstools which feature brown vinyl seats.
