►    There were 21 One-of-These Awards last month; four for Customer Service.  Finalists were Kristine, Joe, Mia, and Patrick.  Owner’s Choice was Patrick, and the drawing winner was Allison.  Congratulations to all.

►    Happy Birthday, Kristine, on December 8th.

►    Advertising, promotions, and specials continue from last week:  “Family Fun Sale”

►    Did you know that we have a Twitter account?  @Seasonal Stores NH.  You can access it from our web page too.

►    Customer Feedback:  Customer Jody B., from Wilton, NH stated that her general shopping experience with us was Excellent.  “Attentive, knowledgeable staff”.   Did any of our team members do an unusually good job?  “Yes, the salesman.  Bought my pool table because he took his time and explained everything.  Installation team was outstanding.”  Sales help, operations, communication, and product performance were all rated Excellent. “Pleasant experience.  Appreciate follow-up emails.”  She would recommend us to a friend.  What do we do really well?  “It was your website and customer feedback that brought me to your store.”

►    I mentioned last week that we would like a customer name on two-piece cue purchases.  That is a preference, not a requirement.  We are not tracking if you do, and we are not penalizing anyone.  It is not on the warranty list.  It is just to make returns a little easier to track, because it is difficult to tell which one is being returned ($29.99 or $149.99) if all the labels are off and you don’t know much about cues.

►    The final list of winter jobs is on the lunchroom wall now.

►    From The Hippo: Michael Williams, 53, was arrested in Sumter, SC, in February after his debit card was rejected as payment at the Applebee’s restaurant.  Police were called when Williams’ backup form of payment was a “U.S. currency” bill in the denomination of $1 trillion.

►    More Internet Humor:

  • Customer: “Waiter, I’ve only got one piece of meat in my dish.” Waiter: “Just a moment, sir and I’ll cut it in two.”
  • We have got a new dog, would you like to come around and play with him? Well, I don’t know, does he bite? That’s what I want to find out.
