► There were 28 One of These Awards for November: 9 for customer service. Finalists were Patrick, Joe, Jim, and Ryan (twice). Owner’s Choice was Jim and the Drawing winner was Joe. Congratulations to all.
► We got an email from Pam M. about her experience needing help winterizing her inground pool. She says, “I want to thank Kristine for the exceptional customer service I received a couple weeks ago. I needed help with winterizing our inground pool, so I brought in printed color photos of our pump and filter, and Kristine walked me through the entire process. So the moment of truth … Yesterday I rented your compressor and was able to close our pool without any issues. I was beyond thrilled. The help I received from Kristine was superb. Thank you to Kristine, and thank you to Seasonal Stores for offering such incredible help. I’ll see you guys in the spring”.

► A word to the wise: open your pay notices. There might be a check in it. We try to get bonuses and commissions out earlier than usual in December so that you have money for shopping. We will probably pay commissions twice, because there are a lot of tables and games picked up right before Christmas.
► Olhausen has a new catalog! We printed a color copy for the special order book, and a black & white copy for the lunch room. Customers can download it from their website. However, their brand new website is currently not connected to their BYOT program, so you’ll have to go back to our program for quoting – or use our program along with the special order book.
► Please protect the environment! All employees should use a washable coffee cup – we have PLENTY in the lunchroom.
► We have literature to hand out on Creative Playthings; sending the customer to their factory store to make a purchase or to learn more. The Yorktown that was installed Tuesday and Wednesday is about $9,500; not counting the rubber base.
► Creative Playthings will install our playsets within 25 miles of our store, without extra charges or mileage. It is the same radius for everything that we sell.
► December 16: Happy December Birthday to Kristine and Joe. Celebrate with birthday cake in the coffee shop, while supplies last.
December 24: Closing at 3PM for Christmas Eve.
