►     This week’s report card comes from the Smerekaniczs from New Boston.  They said that their shopping experience was excellent, mostly because Stephanie was so amazing.  They also said that the best thing we could do for our business would be to get her back, or make all the staff as helpful and attentive.

►     So here’s the good news:  Stephanie will be back Tuesday!

►     I was admiring the art in Eric’s office and he mentioned that they were all photographs that he had taken.  Unbelievable!  You can see a collection of his work at https://ericslaughenhaupt.zenfolio.com.  Seriously, check them out.

►     Advertising and Promotions continue from last week:  Look at the Big Picture.

►     Last year you were supposed to convert Pentair Above Ground system to Variable Speed by selling the components separately; not removing a pump from a package and charging the difference.  Due to resistance on that, the Complete Pool Package has been updated to make it easier:  you have to return the included pump for $200, and add the VS pump for $699.99, plus add a conversion kit at no charge.  Purpose:  for the customer to show on their receipt the correct description of the VS Pump and a price high enough to qualify for a rebate.  I have no idea what is in a conversion kit – see Patrick for that.  I removed the Double Main Drain to make room, because salespeople tell me that we no longer get cross-shopped with Gibraltar Pools.  Choosing a credit of $200 on the pump is not a mistake, it is deliberate.

English is Hard!

  • The bandage was wound around the wound.
  • The farm was used to produce produce.
  • The dump was so full that it had to refuse more refuse.
