►    Events during the next couple of weeks:

July 1-3:  FREE Independence Day Gifts while supplies last.

         July 1:  Summer store hours start:  Mon – Fri 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Sat 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sun 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

July 4:  CLOSED ~ Happy Independence Day.

July 9-10:  Customer Appreciation Days: Free Gifts with any purchase, while they last.

►    Customer Feedback:  Customer John M., from Hampstead, NH rated his general shopping experience as Excellent.  “Very impressed with all aspects of Seasonal Stores in Amherst, NH.”  Did any of our team members did an unusually good job? “They are all fantastic.  Special shout out to Stephanie, who I purchased the pool from, and Mia for sharing her knowledge at the classes.”  Sales help, operations, communication and product performance were all rated Excellent.  In addition, pool school, in-store advice, and free water testing were Excellent.  He would recommend us to a friend.  “Absolutely would recommend.  You go above and beyond to help customers properly care for their pool.”  What do we do really well?  “The classes are excellent and they taught us a great deal.  I don’t see classes being offered anywhere else.”

►    Advertising and weekly specials change Sunday, June 26: “Hot Mid-Summer Clearance Sale”

►    Remember, we will be closed Monday, July 4th.  That means be careful when people call for store hours.  We also go to July hours on July 5; closing at 8 instead of 9.  So start telling people now.  When they call for store hours, they are not thinking:  “I better call again tomorrow in case they changed.”

►    The process of notifying the office when we run out of things seems to have broken down.  I discovered we were out of  three things last week that the computer tells us we have.  So if we are low on a pool supply, please leave me a note.  Even better, tell me how many the computer says, and how many you say.  But if that’s too much work, tell me something and I’ll   do the rest.

Last week, people knew that we were out, and assumed someone knew, or someone had taken care of it.  But that was not true.  So please let me know.

►    And I have recently met two people who made multiple trips to the store, looking for something that they were told was on   order.  But they were not on order.  And no one asked them for a phone number so we could tell them that it was in.

►    The Bioguard test reagents are stocked in the water lab.  Not because it’s such a great place; but that’s where they were when we used them.  Actually, if it were up to me, I’d stock them with the rest of the retail reagents.

►    Free lunch on Saturday 6/25 is being provided compliments of Accucare, from Uno’s.

►    From Anne-Marie: Mail Chimp has changed their policies.  If one of our customers unsubscribes or “opts-out” of emails, I can no longer re-enroll them; not even with their written permission.  I will need to send the customer a link, and he/she  must re-enroll on their own.  Mail Chimp will send them an email, which they must respond to in order to be re-enrolled.

We would like to use the Tip Jar to buy ice cream soon, but the freezer is too full. If you have meals for several days, could  you possibly store less in the freezer, and free up some space please?

►   From Kristine:  When putting items in the Hold box behind the Parts counter, it would helpful if you labeled them with: date held, hold until date, and customer phone number.  Thank you.

►   Laughter is The Best Medicine from the Reader’s Digest:

Air BNB Reviews of Rapunzel’s Tower: “Rapunzel was always easy to contact, in part because she was always there.  “The wicked witch won’t let me leave,” she told us.  I wished we’d known we’d have a roommate during our entire stay .”
