► We have been running a 35th Anniversary Sale since May fourth. It includes many signs around the store, a giant sign on the building, and special signs on many 35% OFF items throughout the store. All of those signs are going to have to come down for the beginning of the August Clearance Sale at the end of July, so it would be nice if we could get some of them up before then.
► Customer Feedback: A Seasonal Specialty Stores Report Card was received from customer Judy P. in Merrimack, NH whose general shopping experience with us was Excellent. Did any of our team members do an unusually good job? “Always great service. Patrick top notch as always.” Sales help, operations, communication, and product performance were all rated Excellent. In-store advice and free water testing were both rated Excellent.
► All new advertising, weekly specials, and monthly promotions all start Sunday, June 28: “Hot Mid-Summer Clearance”. July’s color is Ivory for everything except patio furniture, which uses Gold. Be careful. The Bioguard Sale ends, and many of the Discount Pool Supply Sale items end their sale.

► Please be careful, we exchanged two expired sets of test strips for a customer for two fresh sets. Except the expired ones (which were obviously not returned with a receipt) have a price tag from Budget Pools. A non-computerized price tag, so the tag itself is really old. And we did not even take the customer’s name. And we’re out $30.
► Congratulations, we were just named as one of the top 5 Marquis dealers in sales for 2015 YTD. Great job.
► Liquid chlorine deposits were all good except for something that makes no sense and seems like a $30 loss. Two refunds without names, and all of the warranty items were done correctly. Great job!
► Oceanic Solar Lights are becoming a stock item, in the pack of two, but not the pack of four. The “S” lights will continue to be special order only. The price for both have gone up somewhat: original $99.99 a pair; discount $79.99 and with the purchase of a pool only; $63.99, item no. (#4719). The above ground price list has been changed
► From Anne-Marie: Saturday, June 27th, is lunch bought for us by Robelle Industries. We will be having Chicken-n-Chips.
► From Stephanie: If you are sent out on an errand with cash, DO NOT leave the change for the manager in the open. Cash and checks should never be left out at the registers, but should be given straight to a manager. Thanks.
► Yelp last week: 10 people looked for us and our competitors. Two went to our website; one called from the same smart phone.
