Lloyd Flanders Patio Furniture
The first new set we will be showing from Lloyd this year is a dining set called Ala Carte ~ Compass. This is a contemporary aluminum, import dining set that has a very metropolitan look to it. We will show this set with a 60” round aluminum 
slat top table and 6 stacking sling arm chairs. It will be shown in a Gloss Anthracite finish with Dark Gray slings & teak arms on the chairs. This 7 piece set will retail for $2,199. We will also offer an optional arm chair with a teak seat & back and an 80” rectangular slat top table. Please note that this set is an import set and there will be no special orders options available on this group.
We will again show the Contempo sectional as a 5 piece set for $5,999. The sales on this set the past year were a little pokey so we will work to sell off this set this coming season and look for a replacement for it for the 2016 season. This set will be stocked in the same Aged Walnut finish with Sunbrella fabric Linen Sesame on the cushions. The sectional will be displayed as a corner unit, two armless chairs, loveseat and chaise lounge. This sectional can be sold in either a left arm or right arm configuration.
There are no major changes this year to the Grand Traverse set. We will again order this set on container from China and show it with the Chinese made cushion in Sunbrella fabric Dupione Caramel. We will again price this set competitively at $3,199 for a sofa, lounge chair and ottoman. Optional loveseat, swivel glider, porch rocker, oval cocktail table and end table are still available. As a reminder when special ordering this set from Lloyd in Menominee the cushions will come standard with a bull nose or waterfall seat cushion and buttons on the contoured back cushions. If you want to special order cushions for this set that look exactly like the Chinese cushion you will need to order cushions from the Fairhope collection. They are the same size and match the Chinese cushion exactly.
The next new group this year is a two piece sectional called Mesa. This sectional will consist of a loveseat (left or right arm) and a chaise lounge (left or right arm) and will be shown in a Pecan colored vinyl weave. The cushion fabric will be Sunbrella fabric # 761 Fife Myrtle (muted green). This two piece sectional will retail for $2,499. We had several requests this past season for smaller scale sectionals and the Mesa sectional fits this request perfectly. We have ordered this set on container at a very competitive price but it is available by special order from Menominee if you have a customer looking to change the cushion fabric.
The Nantucket seating set and the Nantucket Chair ½ set actually hit the sales floor mid-season in 2014. This set is the replacement for the Reflections set we showed last season. Both of these sets are shown in the Ash loom finish and Sunbrella fabrics Dupione Galaxy, Traverse Indigo and Accord Koi. The seating set is priced at $4,599 for a sofa, lounge chair & ottoman and two chair ½’s and large ottoman for $4,199. This set is a top 5 loom set from Lloyd and it allows us a wide range of special order options for fabrics and 20 loom finish choices.
The last new group for this year is Tobago. Jeanne & I had been looking at this collection for 2 years now and finally decided to take the plunge and order it. This style of furniture is different than the normal traditional New England style Lloyd we have ordered in the past. This collection has a modern eclectic feel to it and we hope this collection will attract our younger more contemporary customers. The pieces in this seating set will be sold individually and not as a set package due to the fact that some of the pieces are a little pricey. We will allow customers to mix n match the pieces they like most. We will be showing a low back lounge chair $1,539, high back swivel lounge chair $2,219, matching small ottoman $709, large cocktail ottoman $1,119 and barrel end table with a teak top $809. All pieces will be shown in a very cool vinyl weave called Hyacinth and be shown in Sunbrella fabric # 319 Canvas.
New for this season, Lloyd has cut down on the number of loom finishes they are offering for the 2015 to 20. Last season they offered over 29 finishes which was way too many choices for customers. In addition they are now pricing their loom finishes in two pricing categories of either a Tier 1 or Tier 2 price range. Each loom sample is marked with the appropriate tier # and should be priced accordingly when special ordering. This new system basically replaces the old system of Premium vs. Standard finishes. Lloyd has introduced a new extended warranty program that went into effect on 9/1/14. Any customer who purchased Lloyd Flanders after that date can have their warranty extended by 2 additional years. All the customer has to do is go to the Lloyd Flanders website at www.lloydflanders.com and click on the registration tab on the upper right hand side of the home page. This will bring up a registration form that the customer will need to fill out. All the information the customer will need should be found on their sales receipt. Please note that this is something the customer must fill out. We are not allowed to do this for them!!
