A few of our diplomas. No one has a better-trained and better-educated staff.
Don’t panic! We’re here to help. It often seems overwhelming in the beginning, just because pool care involves concepts that you are not used to. However, next year you’re going to wonder what all the fuss was about this year. And two years from now, you’re going to be teaching the couple in line behind you at the water lab (if nothing else, how to come in when it’s not rush hour to avoid the line)!
Your best bet right now is to read the Chemical Systems page in our pool supply section, read through the Pool Tips™ Index page, come to Pool School, and buy a copy of Tame the Pool Monster, a mostly waterproof introduction to pool care with great photographs. We also have FREE pool care guides in the store from Baquacil®, Bioguard®, and Target™ Pool Supplies.
Here’s some answers to our most common new pool owner questions:
I just filled my brand new pool. Now what do I do?
How much water do I have in my pool?
I’m just opening my pool for the summer, using last year’s water. What do I do first?
I just bought a house with a pool. I’ve never taken care of one before. Who can help me?
"The installers did an excellent job as my house sits on top of a hill which is almost all ledge. I'm a first time owner and the phone assistance I received when closing the pool for the winter was very helpful."

"We were very pleased with the service we received at your store. The pool was installed on time as promised. All we had to do was fill it and enjoy."
