Ok. I surrender. For the past few years I’ve tried running a hot tub supply sale in February, because there’s not much money coming in then. Hot tub supplies don’t have an actual busy season; so we don’t have an actual pre-season, season, or end-of-season. However, it didn’t work. We advertised, we mailed a letter to every hot tub owner, we gave 15% off everything, and sales went down 15%. I’m no Warren Buffet, but I can eventually see a bad idea!
So, all hot tub supplies are on sale right now, along with our pool supplies. Even if sales don’t go up, we haven’t spent any extra money on advertising: it’s just a couple of extra words in an ad we were running anyway. And hot tub owners get to save right along side pool owners!
