► Customer Feedback: Gerald stated his general shopping experience with us was Excellent. “Compared to Bemister’s inSalem, you folks have a much better layout and all your help were highly professional and courteous.” Sales help, operations, communication, and products were all rated Excellent. “Everyone from sales, cashiers, and warehouse people were great.” What can we do to improve? “Offer deck awnings maybe?” What do we do really well? “Everything from your website to your floor layout and friendly personnel.”

► We just put out a new price list for Joe’s Delivery Service. However, it is missing some information, so there should hopefully be an update out soon.
► Landon tells me that a spa chemical customer told him that Bedford Pool and Patio was still closed. I had heard that the new owner was reopening while he tried to sell it. Either way, we carry the same spa chemicals: Spa Guard and Soft Soak. I was planning on running out of Soft Soak, but instead, I ordered $2,000 more until I can see where they will shake out. We have repriced it to be at the lowest price Bioguard allows. In the meantime, know that Soft Soak and Baqua Spa are the same, just as Baquacil and Soft Swim are the same. In fact, Baquacil sells the sanitizer to Bioguard.
► We will be closed next Wednesday, January 18, and every Wednesday until March. Please be careful when you answer questions on the phone. Our website has been updated.
► I will be out of the office from January 21 through the 29th. Jeanne’s brother, who has cancer, is going to Disney World and he is taking us to help him. It is amazing how chemotherapy seems to make people want to go to Disney.
► The Mr. Cues price list has been updated to include a fuel surcharge when the price of regular gasoline rises over $4.00 per gallon. This matches the Joe’s Delivery Service price list, and should avoid us rushing to create new price lists if we get into another war for oil.

Effective January 5th, a new law inMassachusetts has gone into effect that bans the use of hand-held cell phones while driving a commercial vehicle. This law will be enforced by the MA State Police Truck Team. It does not affect drivers using mounted mobile phones nor the operation of CB radios.
Penalty for non-compliance: driver is disqualified from operating a commercial motor vehicle for 60 days with the second offense in three years. (120 days for each subsequent offense within three years).
