Customer Feedback:   Customers Jon & Kap from Dunstable, MA stated that their general shopping experience with us was Excellent.  “Landon did a fine job of explaining pros and cons of solar heater for pool.”  Did any of our team members do an unusually good job?  “Patrick!!  Patrick went way beyond the call of duty.  He was so helpful and generous with his time.”  Sales help, operations, communication and products were all rated Excellent.  “You treat people with respect and give solid information.  I so appreciate your straight forward approach.”

 ►    Advertising and weekly specials from last week:  “The Best of the Best”.  Also, Game Tables, Hot Tubs and Billiard Table sales all end Saturday, November 3rd.  The Above Ground sale (front and back) will continue for a few more weeks.

 ►    Halloween candy on the cash registers until Halloween.     

 ►    Happy Birthday to Jen on Thursday, November 1st

►    Remember, we are expecting 75 to 100 people here for the Open House on November 7.  We will need a lot of people here to impress them, set-up, take-down, and maybe sell a few hot tubs.  If your parents are coming, could you let me know so I can keep an eye out for them?

        Added by Patrick:  All store employees will be scheduled for at least a 4 hour shift that day, 4:30 to 8:30 PM.  If you have questions, please let me know.

►    Note that more Marquis eSeries tubs (750, 660 and 425) will go out of production today.  They will be unavailable until December or January.  When they come back, they will be different and more expensive.

►    Congratulations.  All chlorine deposits, refunds, and warranty names were all perfect last week. 

►    Thank you for giving me your input on the last season.  There will be a $20 bonus in your paycheck to all who helped me with your opinions.

 ►    I am separately attaching copies from Namco’s web site on their plan to close half of their stores for the winter, plus to open more stores next year to operate just for the season – kind of like Halloween or Christmas stores.  What does it mean?  I don’t know.  But four months is a long time to change some light bulbs, wash the floor, and change the strip-reader.  But it does save a lot of money to lay off all of the employees. 

►    The special order book for licensed sports billiard and bar products, from Imperial, has been updated.

►    Internet Humor: 

        – The main reason that Santa is so jolly is because he knows where all the bad girls live.

        – I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, “Where’s the self-help section?” if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
