► We received the following email from Janet M: “Thank you, this is the correct email. I also want to tell you that your store and personnel are the greatest. You have been so helpful to us over the years and we love keeping up with everyone via your newsletter. Thanks again for all your help.”
► Advertising, weekly specials, and department sales continue from last week: “Because Our Mothers Said So”
► Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12. We will be offering FREE gifts to all women that day. We make no assumptions as to anyone’s motherhood status – we give the present (probably a flower) to everyone.
► Talk up the Open House to everyone. We put a lot of work into it, so we might as well try to get a big turnout.
► I apologize for this month’s specials being on blue paper; like floor model signs. I was making everything match the monthly Above Ground and Hot Tub Sales, and they never looked like signs. In June, I will revamp the system, and it will no longer overlap with the sign system. We will stop using blue, yellow, or orange for monthly sales.
► Free copies of Bits ‘N Pieces are available in the lunchroom.
► From Victor:
– Customer David H is very complimentary with our website. He said that’s what lured him here (first time in store). He also said he wasn’t impressed with Blue Dolphin’s selection, his usual place. Was very impressed with his online shopping. Most complete shopping experience he had online.
– Please do not leave empty boxes in and around the warehouse. Don’t know? Just ask.
► Your 2012 Profit Sharing will be deposited (for those who qualify) around Memorial Day. Jen will tell you when it happens.

To all stockers: If you empty a box of spa chemicals on the spa shelves, go into the overflow bin and get a new box. Please bring the box down and put it on the spa shelves for the next stockers. Do not take singles down from the overflow bin and leave an opened box up there. Do not leave any empty boxes on the spa shelves as well. Thanks.
► Excellent job last weekend. Saturday was the biggest sales day in the history of the company. If it seemed very easy to you, it was – because it was all due to large sales by the salespeople at the Design Center. They did a great job! The rest of us just had an average day. If you are new, wait until you see how much worse it is in June!
