► We received a report card from an anonymous customer who spoke about his general shopping experience as “excellent”. They commented that the staff had compassion for an unfortunate situation, and did have some laughs (no one was hurt so we could laugh). They went on to say that Patrick did an unusually good job by realizing they were in a hurry – warm weather was already here. Patrick helped with paperwork needed for insurance. Sales help, operations people, communication and products were all rated excellent. The in-store advice and free water testing were excellent as well. When asked what we can do to improve they noted “Have another store closer to Hudson.” To the question “what do we do really well?” they remarked “When we have had water issues, we can count on you to guide us on how to remedy the situation.”
► Congratulations to Kristine who just graduated from Dale Carnegie.
► Current plan is to begin the playset installation outdoors on Tuesday. It will probably take a week to complete (they will not work every day). The indoor display should go in last, unless it is raining or snowing. Training will begin here on a Sunday morning, though we will also travel to Holliston, Mass., in a couple of groups for more detailed training. Until we are comfortable, we will give out folders and send customers to a factory store.

► From Anne-Marie: Reminder: our holiday wrap party will be on Saturday, January 6th starting at 6:30 pm at the Country Tavern. I need responses by December 28th at the latest. There is a maximum seating capacity of 46 in the loft. So this is on a first-come, first-served basis.

All phone numbers should be entered with area code and number; no dashes, periods, parenthesis or commas. If punctuation is used, they can’t be looked up on a receipt by phone number. Also, all capitals should be used, no lower case. Thanks.
