► Customer Feedback: The following email was received from John G in Newburyport, MA: “I just wanted to say that working with Seth in the Billiards department was great. ► All sales continue from last week: “Paddy O’Furniture”. Remember, a gas grill is not Patio Furniture. A fire pit is.
► There are some exceptionally low prices on the clearance grills, because we cannot afford to take any more room away for patio furniture in order to show them. The game plan is to take one spot for clearance grills, and hide the others until we run out of that one. Then put out another.
► Happy Birthday to Ann Auker on Wednesday, March 20.
► Remember, the purpose of the icicle warning signs out front is to keep people from getting hit on the head by an icicle. So put the signs under the icicle. And only put the signs out when we have icicles.
► Pleatco has no intention of changing their “B” cartridge. They say we are the only people in the country who care. So we will put them back on the shelf, with a label just telling people to be careful when they put on the cover.
► We are revamping the Salinity section. The sign has been replaced with a Salt System sign. Salinity Mineral Control and Refresh (an enzyme) are going into the Discount Chemical Department, at unbelievably low prices. Saline 7 and Salinity Plus (worth $70, and $100) will be given away FREE with the purchase of six bags of pool salt. The new section will have products salt users need, such as Poolife Phosphate Remover, Target Super Mineral Control, Mineral Springs Cell Cleaner, Salt-to-Chlorine Generators, a sample bag of salt (possibly), and signs and information.
► From Patrick: There will be a new product and procedures training on Sunday, April 7th at 9AM. All store employees are encouraged (and expected) to attend. Even if you are not scheduled.
Russ Welch from Maytronics will be here Thursday (March 21st) at 8 AM to do training for Dolphin pool cleaners. If you are selling, maybe selling or repairing these cleaners you are encouraged to attend.
► Don’t Mess With Children: A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to “honor” they Father and thy Mother, she asked, “Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?” Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered, “Thou shall not kill.”
