►    Customer Feedback:  The following email was received from customer Elliot L. of Mont Vernon, NH. “Please direct my comments to whomever is responsible for taking the time and making the effort to correct a billing mistake which went unnoticed by me recently.  Back in April, I purchased ten blue jugs of unstablized chlorine and apparently was overcharged $8 for the deposit on the containers.  Subsequently, a notice of an $8 credit was mailed to my home, which I recently used to purchase additional supplies.  I suspect that type of honesty and goodwill towards a customer is not entirely prevalent at many stores and with their merchants.  Although the amount was only $8, the message and the intent was far more valuable and will keep me spreading the good news and returning as a continued customer.

►    Advertising changes this week, to:  “Entertain at Home”. Everything else continues from last week.

►    Have a good time at the Wrap Party next Saturday.  If the weather is bad, call the store for instructions.  Technically, we’re not allowed to change the date at the restaurant, though we could switch to the store and let you heat up the leftovers in the microwave.  Even if the store is closed, we should be able to change the voicemail announcement.

►    From Anne-Marie:  The 2015 Seasonal Reward$ and Seasonal Sense have been disbursed.  Some people were automatically moved to Seasonal Sense if they have unsubscribed from our emails or if their email has “hard” bounced. Letters were sent to these people at the time, so they could remedy the situation if they so desired.  If people have questions about their reward, please have them email me (SeasonalRewards@SeasonalStores.com)  if they are on Reward$, or call me if they are on Sense.  The people on Sense are in the separate white file cabinet, and their certificates are not numbered.

►    From Joe:  Note to cashiers:  For customers that pay by check, please make sure that they put the current year, 2016 on their check.  Triangle will not accept checks with 2015 on them after January 31st.

►    That’s Outrageous! from the Reader’s Digest:

… You fall in love too easily. A Columbus, OH, woman had her purse stolen by three armed men in the parking lot outside her home.  Two hours later, there was a knock on her door.  It was one of the thieves.  He had come by to ask her out.

►    From Coffee News:

Tiny carnivore: In the dry desert lands of northern  Mexico and southwestern United States, there lives a tiny, but ferocious, little animal called a grasshopper mouse.  This carnivorous creature steals burrows from other rodents and its diet consists of a smorgasbord of desert delights, such as crickets, spiders, and even other small rodents.  The grasshopper mouse is also able to eat poisonous Arizona bark scorpions because it is not affected by their venom.  A human who is bitten by one of these scorpions will suffer muscle contractions and severe breathing problems.  Scientists are studying the grasshopper mouse to see if its resistance to the poison may one day be used in pain medication.
