►    Customer Feedback: A Seasonal Service Repair report card was received from customer Bruce L. of Milford, NH. He rated us Excellent on all points.  “Paul is one of the most pleasurable maintenance techs I have ever dealt with.”

►     Advertising Promotions and Specials continue from last week:  “Pool Table Sale.”

►   Special Events:

September 28:  Pool School 304 ~ Inground Pool Closing, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM.

October 1:  Winter store hours start:  Mon, Tues, Wed 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Thurs, Fri 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Sat 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sun 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

October 15:  Happy Birthday Allison & Sarah:  FREE birthday cake in the coffee shop, while supplies last.

October 29: Anne-Marie has her fifteenth Anniversary:  Have some anniversary cake in the coffee shop while supplies last.

October 25-31:  Halloween’s coming.  Trick-or-Treat for some Halloween candy here, while supplies last.

►    You have to change to the revised Wells Fargo forms on Saturday, October 1st.

►    The last Inground Pool Closing Class is Wednesday, September 28. Make sure you invite people. And make sure they register! We couldn’t fit everyone comfortably at the last class, because 20 people registered, but 33 showed up!

►    October 21st will be will be your deadline to purchase subsidized health insurance on our Blue Cross policy; for a policy that begins on December 1st.  Our current policy is going up by $18.86 a month because medical costs always go up.  It is going up another $71.17 because we all get another year older, or $90.56 total.  Since we are already over the cap for our contribution, you pay all of that $90.56 per month.  I am investigating other options:  Most likely raising our hospital deductible from $3000 to $5000 per year and not raising your cost. See me, Connie, and your policy book for how you qualify and how much of that you pay. This is a very large price increase for everyone, and I am trying to find a solution.  I’ll keep interested applicants (if I know who you are), and current members up to date as I work on it.

►    This is the last week of the Discount Pool Supply Clearance Sale.

►    From Stephanie:  You may have received a memo with “Wintering Pool Tips” attached, with directions to read over, write down questions and return to me so we may go over them. I have only received 2 back! If you still have one, please complete and inform me of completion as soon as possible! This is an ASAP item. Thank You.

►    Marquis has removed their name from ATV Swim Spas, removed them from their website, and created an entirely new brand and website called ATV Swim Spas.  That will allow them to open dealers near us, since we are not stocking the ATV and selling at least one a year.  However, if we order any before they open another dealer near us, they will not refuse the order.  They are also circulating a $500 coupon until 10/31/16.  We will honor that coupon.  A copy is in the coupon envelope.

►    The Napoleon mail-in rebates end September 30th.

►    Life In These United States from Reader’s Digest:  “My friend, and intern, was given $50 to get the chairman of the bank some lunch. Told to get himself something, he bought a shirt.”
