► Advertising, promotions, and specials all continue from last week: “Hot Fall Sale”. This month’s color is purple.
► There were 27 One-Of-These Awards for September; 12 for customer service. Finalists were Brett, Eric, Rose, Jim, and Patrick. Owner’s Choice was Eric, and the Drawing Winner was Rose. Congratulations to all.
► Customer Feedback: Customer William C. from Merrimack, NH rated his general shopping experience with us as Excellent. Did any of our team members do an usually good job? “Stephanie, she did a wonderful job helping me and answered all of my questions.” Sales help, operations, and product performance were all rated Excellent. “Love my pool table.” Communication was rated Good. He would recommend us to a friend.

► Pennichuck Water is asking us to eliminate all outside water use because of the drought. Since we already avoid lawn watering, we mostly need to not screw up a pool: like over-draining so that we need to refill it!
► In addition to Best Pool Service and Best Service in Souhegan Valley, we won Honorable Mention for Best Furniture Store.
► I just rescued the Mr. Cues September schedule from the recycling bin. No! Don’t throw it away – we need it. When the month changes, just put it at the back of the calendar with the rest of them. I will remove the back ones and file them after a few months. But we always need to be able to look up who was scheduled when.
► Since Marquis Signature hot tubs no longer have 17” radius corners, they have discontinued the custom Covermate III with the modification tool that works on a larger radius. However, we still have plenty left. They now make a Corner Kit: one for the Covermate I, and a different one for the Covermate III. The signs and the complete spa package have been fixed. We are going to discontinue the Duralift. I’m actually not sure about the Covermate III. I am researching a different lifter to replace it. Film at eleven.
► Flu season is beginning. If you get a flu shot that is not covered by your insurance, just turn in your receipt and we will pay you back. Flu shots are available at about any drug store.

We were tearing down an old three-seater outhouse when my neighbor asked if she could have the single-planed, three-hole outhouse seat. I said sure. Six months later, she invited me to her home. There she showed off her newly designed family room, complete with a single-plank, three-hole picture frame featuring her three grandchildren.
