April 9: Kristine has her fifth Anniversary: Have some anniversary cake in the coffee shop while supplies last.
April 16: Erica has her one-year Anniversary: Have some anniversary cake in the coffee shop while supplies last.
► Customer Feedback: A customer with the last name of Ball, from Londonderry, NH stated that their general shopping experience with us was Excellent. “Sales help exceptional!” Did any of our team members do an unusually good job? “Allison.” Sales help and operations were rated Excellent. Communication and product performance were both rated Good. They would recommend us to a friend. “Inventory, sales.” What do we do really well? “Friendly, helpful.”

► Happy Anniversary and Thank You to Kristine for five years of service, on Thursday, April 7th.
► Quarterly Bonuses this quarter averaged 113%. Great job.
► We are now running a drawing for two tickets to a Fisher Cats game on May 2nd. Details in the lunch room. Looks like it includes refreshments, too. Important: There was a tag on the sign that gave the details on this event, and it is now missing. I need it back, because whoever wins the drawing needs it back. Please return it.
► The lecturn with filter prices and sand/DE samples has been replaced by a Pump/Filter/Motor Program Book and samples on the Intex shelf across from the middle of the filter display. The various signs in the Pump department have been replaced by a similar book in the Pump department.
► From Anne-Marie: We’ve added line #3 to the phone system in the store for the busy pool season. The only calls coming in on this line should be from our Take-It-Easy Customers as it is not hooked to our “hunt” group in the system.
► News of the Weird from the Hippo:
About a decade ago, several fast-food restaurants were plagued by a prank phone-caller, posing as law enforcement requestions investigative help, asking managers to strip-search employees for “contraband” and to describe the searches in real time to the caller. (A suspect was arrested, and the calls stopped.) Managerial judgement was also on display at a Morro Bay, California, Burger King in January when a prank caller somehow convinced BK employees to beging shattering the store’s windows because of a purported “gas leak.” Several windows were smashed in, and an investigation of the call is ongoing.
