► Customer Feedback: Customer Sally C. from Milford, NH rated her general shopping experience as Excellent. Did any of our team members do an unusually good job? “I think they all do well.” Sales help, operations people, and product performance were all rated Excellent. She would recommend us to a friend. What do we do really well? “Run a well oiled store. Reflects on the management and your standards for the store.”
– By the way, if you think about what a remarkable business that her store in Milford is, that was very high praise.
► Everything continues from last week: “April Sale”
► There were 27 One-Of-These Awards in March: 4 for customer service. Ryan led volume with 7. Finalists were Anne-Marie, Connie, Ryan, Joe, and Mia. Owner’s Choice was Ryan, and the Drawing Winner was Elaine. Congratulations and thank you to all.
► The Seasonal News is scheduled to mail on Monday, April 10th. The Reward$ first April email will go out on the same day. If you receive a flyer in the mail, please write the date on it and give it to me. That allows me to judge print and mail quality. If you get the email, please look at all of it and tell me how it looks and works.
► We are closed Easter Sunday, April 16th.
► Events during the next couple of weeks:
April 8: Stephanie’s Birthday: FREE birthday cake in the coffee shop while supplies last.
April 22: Ryan, Amber, Ally, Jack, Morgan, and Eric have their one-year Anniversary: Have some anniversary cake in the coffee shop while supplies last.
April 26: Pool School 202 ~ Easy Pool Opening, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM.
April 29: Patrick has his twentieth Anniversary: Have some anniversary cake in the coffee shop while supplies last.
► From Anne-Marie: The Take-It-Easy “Pool customer special phone line” has been installed and is operational. It is line #3 in the store and necessary for our busy pool season.
► Here is a note from the new Step in a Box price tag: “rated for 370 pounds. For straight or larger radius pools with a small or normal cove”. Several other Target Buying Group stores have carried these steps without a problem for several years. However, if you look at the size of them, and the size of the cutout for the cove, you can see my concern. Note also that this step does not require sand bags or a separate step mat. That saves the customer $70 or more!
► A voucher for 2 tickets to the Actor Singers performance of Singing in the Rain, is available to be raffled to one of you. Details on the lunchroom wall.
► We (Patrick) just discovered a problem in the spreadsheet that calculates the above ground pool price list. Several non-Sharkline pools were wrong – mostly they were $50 too low; though a couple were $50 too high. We have reprinted the price list. Sorry.
► Another change in the above ground pool price list, we added the Sand Filtration package and the DE Filtration package to the individual filters, created new packages, and gave them the package price. That should save one item number and one price change per pool.
► I find that about 1/3 of the time, I have to put out the creamers or the tea water when I have my coffee 2:30 to 3:30. That’s a long time for customers to wait – particularly on days I am not here. Any way to do these in the morning?
► That’s Outrageous! by Reader’s Digest:
Bella Mia, a Maltese terrier, enjoys the finer things in life, including filet mignon and having her own boudoir with a double bed. Which is why her owner, a New York accountant, is leaving more than $1 million in her will to Bella. She wants to ensure that she’s “taken care of in the way that she’s used to.”
