► Happy Birthday to Jim on Monday, August 21st!
► Customer Feedback: Bruce M. of Bennington says, “The week before Labor Day weekend (of course!) I noticed that the pool filter pump has failed. The filter and pump were already installed when we bought our house in 1993, so they were ancient. I called Seasonal Specialty and spoke to Kristine. She told me I could come in and look at some replacement equipment options. I decided to replace both the filter and pump, given their age so she helped me pick some new ones out. Kristine then scheduled a service appointment for installation of the new equipment. The next Friday (two days later), Paul and Ryan showed up and did a great job removing the old filter and pump and installing the new ones. Everything has been working great since. From start to finish, your people all did a wonderful, professional job. I couldn’t be more pleased. THANK YOU!”
► Advertising, specials, department promotions, and sales continue from last week: August Clearance Sale and Final Sale. This month’s color is Light Pink.
► Have a great time at the party tonight (Saturday 8/19). Remember, we can’t cancel for rain, but you can go there, have the barbeque and ice cream in the tent and get passes for the activities on a sunny day.
► Pool Closing Schools are beginning. Wednesday August 23rd is the first Above Ground Closing class and August 30th is the first Inground Closing class. Please encourage people to register.
► If you know someone who would be good, we are currently advertising for retail store management, part time retail mother’s hours (during school hours) and part time after school. Also anyone, any hours, with swimming pool experience.
► Welcome to Maggie Brown, who has just started here as an administrative assistant.
► Our Giant Tent Sale is August 25 – 27. It will be a lot of work to set up and staff. Please be available to help.
► If you look for us on Google Maps, you will see the virtual store tour that was filmed two weeks ago.
► Submitted by Kristine: Reminder! No steps should be in front of hot tubs with water in them! I work a small amount of hours and twice in the last 2 months I have had to move steps that were in front of the Spirit and 545. Please keep an eye out!
► Submitted by Anne-Marie: Sean from Uno’s, who I’ve worked with on the weekend catered meals for many summers, has offered to buy us a free lunch! I’m planning to have it brought it on Friday, August 25th. It will be a surprise selection!
