► The Whites from Londonderry send us some very positive feedback! “We love shopping at Seasonal Specialty Stores – there is such a great selection! Everyone was awesome. Nobody did a bad job – everyone was great. You have a great selection, ok prices, great service, and convenient hours.”
► New advertising starts Sunday February 10: Look at the Big Picture. All other promotions and sales continue from last week.
► There were 13 One of These Awards for January; two for customer service. Ryan received 25% of the entire month! Finalists were Ryan (3) and Ally (1). Ally’s, for safety, would have won in any other month. But Ryan’s, also for safety, took Owner’s Choice. Oh, and by the way, the drawing too! Congratulations to all.
► I should have pointed out that when SABER retail prices went up last week, we kept the Sale prices the same as before. So right now, SABER grills are much cheaper than they will ever be again!
► Thursday afternoon, I sold my stock in Gull Group to Hellenic Ventures, LLC; owned by Eric Slaughenhaupt and Anna Zafiriadis. Please welcome them. Feel free to tell them about all the things you want to do in order to improve our company and your job in particular!
► I need ideas: Got any ideas for subjects for the April or August Newsletters? Want to write something yourself or just give me facts or a subject? Tell me soon. Thank you.
► February 14: Happy Valentine’s Day!
February 18: Presidents’ Day. We’re open our normal hours.
March 1: New store hours begin: Monday – Wednesday 10-6, Thursday and Friday 10-8, Saturday 10-5, Sunday 12-5
March 1: Our GIANT Pre-Season Patio Furniture Sale starts today. The entire department is on sale, including special orders!
March 10: Daylight Savings Time begins. Spring forward!
► Laughter the best medicine:
- If you rip a hole in a net, there are actually fewer holes in it than there were before.
- 2/2/22 falls on a Tuesday, so we can just call it Tuesday!
- 100 years ago a Twenty Dollar bill and a Twenty Dollar gold piece were interchangeable. Either one would buy a new suit, new shoes, and a night on the town. The Twenty Dollar gold piece will still do that.
