► John from New Boston sends us this, “I had the privilege of working with Dennis and Patrick. Your entire staff was excellent and none did a bad job” He stated this about the sales help, “They were excellent at relaying their product knowledge to me”. He also said the warehouse staff made him feel like a part of our team. He rated our phone support as excellent and would recommend us to a friend.
When asked what we could to do improve, this was his response, “Just keep doing what you do”
► New advertising starts Sunday, January 13: Entertain at Home. Promotions, sales and specials all continue from last week
► There were 24 One of These awards for December; 3 for Customer Service. Finalists were Cheryl, Joe G., Maggie, Ryan and Steve. Owners choice was Cheryl and the drawing winner was Ally. Congratulations to all!
► The back of the Above Ground Sale page is getting an additional clearance pool; a 12 x 24’ Repreive52. It’s an UNBELIEVABLE PRICE ($500 off) with a $400 par.
► Your mother doesn’t work here! Ok, for one of you, your father does. But PLEASE wash your dishes when done. It takes two minutes.
► If you have items to add to the Gull News, give them to Maggie by Tuesday so she has time to check with a manager if appropriate.
► Hood sold their table cover manufacturing to Damson Edge. We replaced the 2 pages on the custom table covers and convertibles with a single page (and signs)
► Simplify! We dropped the sign that showed our prices on the solar reels and added some of that information to the sign that shows how to position a solar reel on a pool.
► January 19: Happy January birthday to Tod, Paul, and Maggie. Help us celebrate with FREE birthday cake in the coffee shop, while supplies last.
February 2: Groundhog Day
February 14: Happy Valentine’s Day!
February 18: Presidents’ Day. We’re open our normal hours.
► Laughter the best medicine:
- Do twins ever realize that one of them is unplanned?
- What if my dog only brings back my ball because he thinks I like throwing it?
- If poison expires is it more poisonous or is it no longer poisonous?
