►    From Anne-Marie: We had a customer that received a refund, but not on the original card they had used for the initial purchase.  The refund appeared to go through the registers fine, but a few days later I received an email from our credit card processor that it was rejected because that particular card had never made a purchase at our store.  To look up which card was used on a receipt, go to the receipt on Retailpro, do a “form view” and look at the tender screen.  The last four digits of the card appear to the right of the amount after “Card #”.  If the customer no longer has the card he/she originally used for the purchase, please fill out a form to have the back office send them a store credit or to work out something with the credit card anti-fraud department.  If you have questions, please see either myself or Jen.

►    Customer Feedback:  A Seasonal Specialty Stores Report Card was received from an anonymous customer whose general shopping experience with us was Excellent.  Did any of our team members do an unusually good job?  “All of your staff always do a great job”.  Sales help, operations, communication, and product performance were all rated Excellent.  “Always professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.”  In-store advice and free water testing were both rated Excellent.  Would you recommend us to a friend?  “Yes.”  What do we do really well?  “Customer service.”

►    Events during the next couple of weeks:

June 13-14:  Customer Appreciation Day:  Free Gifts with any purchase, while they last.

          June 17:  Pool School 102 ~ Introduction to Pool Chemistry, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

►    The SD80 filter tank with 1½” valve has been replaced by the same tank with a 2” valve.  The hardware pack is also being replaced with a 2” hardware pack.

►    17 people viewed us on Yelp last week.  One went to our website, one checked in, and one clicked on driving directions.

►    The Safety Reward Party at Kimball Farms on August 15th will be held as scheduled, because you made three years without an accident before our last injury.  The party is a reward for two or more years without an injury.

►    The Seasonal Sense certificates have been separated into their own cabinet.  Since Sense participants are not obligated to read emails, they are not obligated to keep their certificate.  You can look them up alphabetically.  And Reward$ participants who do not want to read emails, or remember their number can switch to Sense by sending an email to SeasonalReward$@SeasonalStores.com.  We will change their membership and move their certificate to the Sense drawer, and stop sending their emails.  They will lose 80% of their certificate for the following year, because that was their payment for reading our emails.
