►   Events during the next couple of weeks:

►    Customer Feedback:  Tom K. of Nashua, NH sent us in his Seasonal Service and Repair Report Card after having a leak repaired in his pool plumbing.  He said that Paul and Ryan were “very polite and personable, great people”.  He gave us a 9 on every relevant category, and a 10 on “Would you recommend us to a friend”.  Tom said that “when initial leak repair wasn’t 100% perfect came back and replaced the problematic valve”.  He said the reason he chose us for his repair service was because he “always buys chemicals from us and has for years”.

►   Advertising, promotions, and sales continue from last week: Winter Pool Covers.  This month’s color is Grey.

►   There were 13 One of These Awards for August; one for Customer Service.  Finalists were Carolyn, Thomas, Stephanie, and Ryan.  Owner’s Choice was Stephanie.  The drawing winner was Ally.  Congratulations to all.

►    I called the store recently.  No one answered, and I went into voicemail.  I selected Pool Department, and no one picked up.  Then I tried Patio, and no one picked up.  I tried Pool Department again.  No luck.  Then I tried Patio again, and someone picked up.  Please let me remind you that when you hear the department-only ring, stop what you are doing, excuse yourself from the customer, and pick up, even if it is to put them on hold.  Because they’ve already been ignored once by having to go into the voicemail in the first place.

►   Thank you and a $50 bonus to the people who turned in a Seasonal Wrap-Up Poll in time.  Bonus will be in next week’s paycheck:  Thomas, Joe, Connie, Amber, Andrew, Lucy, Morgan, Anne-Marie, Carolyn, Jared, and Dawson.  I appreciate your ideas.

►   The Winter Project Poll is now out.  I need that back ASAP, but at least by 9/20.  It is a lot of work to make and arrange that list and we need to start on it ASAP.
