► Customer Feedback: Customer Todd R., of Hudson, NH stated that his general shopping experience with us was Excellent. “Roz – super helpful, not pushy, confident, and funny.” Did any of our team members do an unusually good job? “Roz – very good sales person. She must have gotten an A at patio school!” Operations, communication, and product performance were rated Excellent. He would recommend us to a friend. What do we do really well? “Everything – showroom. I did not realize all the stuff you sell.”

► From Stephanie:
- To cashiers: There are flyers at the registers for the patio sale going on this month. Anyone who makes a purchase should have one of these automatically put into their bag or box of merchandise. It is additional advertising for that sale to customers we already know like us. Thank you.
- To everyone: Please remember to test tubs daily. It is a daily responsibility, and anyone can test them. We often forget about it I we don’t have kids working, and even though it is on their chore list, it still needs to get done if they aren’t here. If you are unsure how to test tubs, please ask any of the managers. Thank you.
► From Patrick: We have two new trainings scheduled: Wednesday 3/25 for Nirvana training sales and service (the new heat pump we are carrying) from 9-12; and on 3/27 we have Maytronics training on sales and service from 10-12. Both will be here at the store, there will be other stores attending the training as well
► Marquis changed the height of regular eSeries tubs (not the 322 & 425) in November: from 34” to 35”. So the J Series are 34” and the eSeries are 35”
► Marquis has discontinued Silk interiors.
► Patrick did a quick shop of Jordan’s for pool tables. They did not have them in Nashua a year ago, but they have them now. Specifics should be in the Competitive Shopping book, but generally, they are a lot more expensive than us.
► News of the Weird from the Hippo: In November, a New York appeals court approved a Rockland County judge’s jury instructions, which had resulted in the jury’s absolving Brittany Lahm of fault when she flipped her car on the New York Thruway, killing one passenger and injuring others. Lahm was driving friends home from the beach when one passenger unexpectedly unfastened Lahm’s bikini top, which caused her to lose control of the car. The judges ruled that the jury could (and ultimately did) consider that Lahm faced an “unforeseen emergency” and was not negligent. (The only fatality in the crash was the original unfastener.)
► Internet Humor: The notorious cheap skate explaining to a friend how to find his apartment. He said, “come up to 5M and ring the doorbell with your elbow. When the door opens, push with your foot.” “Why use my elbow and foot?” “Well, gosh,” was the reply, “you’re not coming empty handed are you?”
