► Advertising, sales, and specials continue from last week: “Patty O’Furniture Sale”
► Customer Feedback: An anonymous customer rated their shopping experience as “good”. When asked if any of our team members did an unusually good job, they said “Ann – helping with past purchase return, Allison for pricing out the selection over the phone.” They rated are sales help as “excellent”, and said no one did a bad job. The operations staff was “good”, and communication was “excellent”. So far the products are “excellent” even though they had to change out a folding chair. They would recommend us to a friend.

► Please keep your eyes open and connected to your brains. If you see something without a price tag or shelf tag, fix it. If you see a faded or worn tag, fix it immediately! That looks terrible to a customer – like we carry such bad crap that no one wants to buy it.
► From Anne-Marie: Just a reminder that punctuation should not be used in the customer’s address in RetailPro except for their email address. Phone numbers should be entered without parenthesis or dashes (area code and full number). Thank you.
► From Stephanie: Now available at the Parts and Design Center computers! On the desktop, in a folder titled Training, is a new presentation on Pentair Intellichlors. If you plan to sell them, you need to watch the powerpoint. Once you do, please check in with me.
► From Joe: Please note that Joe C. will not be accepting new pool customers.
► As I see it, all pages in your program book should be updated to 2016 in the Pool Supply section. The only exceptions are special order decks and safety covers. If you are missing something, please say so.
► News of the Weird from the Hippo: Military Intelligence. The head of U.S. Navy intelligence has for more than two years been prohibited from accessing classified information (as the Pentagon disclosed to The Washington Post in January). Vice Admiral Ted Branch came under investigation in 2013 in a corruption scandal involving a foreign defense contractor and various Navy personnel and might have been suspended from all duties except that, given the political gridlock in Washington, no consensus candidate has emerged. No charges have been filed again Branch, but before he enters any room at the Pentagon, classified material must be stowed away.
► Laugh Lines from the Reader’s Digest: I spend three minutes every day choosing a TV channel to leave on for my dog. Then I go to work, and people take me seriously as an adult.
