► From Sarah:
The pool parts project I have been working on is now complete. Every top cap is in a box on wood shelves next to the door leading to the backyard. There are between 6 and 15 per box, depending on size. If you need top caps, please pull them from there. If you need more than what is in the box, pull them from bin B1B. If a box on the shelf is running low, let me know and I will restock it. The boxes on the shelves don’t have tops so it should be easy to access them. Each box has a bright pink label with description and item number. I took pictures of each one and made a binder so we can easily identify them. Hardware for pools, and bottom plates, etc. are on wood shelves in bin B20B. Thanks to Paul, we now have more storage for bottom tracking. Pat and I are still working on labeling them. Care packages have all been split up and organized. Top rails have been moved to bin C1B. If anyone has questions, or has trouble find something, please let me or Pat know.
► Customer Feedback: We received the following email from customer Jocelyn H.: “We had a wonderful visit at your store on Saturday. We traveled from Randolph, MA and picked up EVERYTHING we came for. Your staff was so pleasant and knowledgeable, which was very helpful to novice pool owners. I believe it was Stephanie in the Parts department that helped us out and she was absolutely fantastic! We will definitely make the drive again this summer for all our pool needs!”

► News of the Weird from the Hippo:
Great moments in leadership. (1) In November, the president of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Abdell Aziz, in the stands but “bored” with his country’s “Super Cup” soccer final that had been tied, 1-1, for a long stretch, ordered officials on the field to stop play abruptly and proceed to a game-ending 10-kick “shootout.” (The Tevragh-Zeina team won.) (2) Jorge Servin, Paraguay’s head of indigenous affairs, was fired in November after he apparently kneed an indigenuous woman in the stomach as she protested her people’s treatment by the government. (3) The head of Croatia’s human rights committee, Ivan Avonimir Cica, posing alongside President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic to commemorate International Human Rights Day in December, had his pants inexplicably come loose and fall to his ankles.
► Humor in Uniform from the Reader’s Digest:
I was a medic in the Army. One day, I woke up with terrible back pain. I went to the sick hall, where I was told I’d be taken to the hospital. After an hour, the captain came over. “Sorry for the delay,” he said. “But we can’t find the ambulance driver.” “Captain,” I said, “I’m the ambulance driver.”
