►    From Patrick:

  • We have been getting new and improved mineral control from Robelle. Please stock the old bottles first, they are marked with a “use first” sticker in the warehouse. Once we are out of the old style, we can switch to the new ones.
  • As of 5/21, parts orders from APC only will be done twice a week at no extra shipping charge to the customer, they will be done on Sunday night and Wednesday night.  Sunday night’s order will arrive Tuesday evening. Wednesday night’s order will arrive by Friday evening. If the customer needs a part sooner than these two order dates there will be a $10 charge for rushed orders. It is very important that any rushed parts orders be given to the manager on duty immediately. This is for APC orders only. Please see me if you have any questions
  • For those of you doing special order parts this weekend, please keep in mind that the parts manufacturing is closed on Monday so it will be harder to get parts here before Thursday.

►    Customer Feedback: A Seasonal Specialty Stores Report Card was received from customer Kathryn E. Her general shopping experience with us was Excellent. “Our salesman was awesome! Full of energy – when he didn’t know something he asked someone.” Did any of our team members do an unusually good job? “Yes, young guy, can’t remember his name”. Sales help, operations, communication, and product performance were all rated Excellent. “Looking for another ladder for us when we didn’t like what came in our package. Love knowing we aren’t just a number! Love our pool!” In-store advice was rated Excellent. What do we do really well? “Everything!”

►    Remember, dial “9” for outgoing calls in the store. That puts you onto line 3 first. Because there are only two lines coming in, and people get mad about getting a busy signal for hours at a time, while you are tying up lines 1 or 2.

►    Park behind the building on Saturday and Sunday only (plus Memorial Day), starting May 23 and ending June 28. That is Saturday and Sunday, not any day except Saturday and Sunday (and Memorial Day). And only between the lines on the pavement or painted on the guardrails. Only between the lines.

►    We had 12 people look at us on Yelp last week, but only one of them went to our website. If you know of people who like us, use your reminder card to get them to review us online. It would help a lot.

►    Advertising, promotions, and specials continue from last week: “Seasonal Beats Them All”

  • There is a rebate going on now until July 31st on the Aquabot units. The rebate they get is based on the price they pay for the unit. See the rebate form for details. Any questions, please let me know.
  • Also, this means almost all cleaners have a rebate, as well as being on sale. This is a great month to buy them!

►        From Anne-Marie:

  •  Please remember, if a customer is on Seasonal Reward$ or Seasonal Sense, do not change their email address on their customer record. They need to email me in order to have it changed. I need something in writing, especially if the customer has “unsubscribed” from our email blasts.
  •  Free lunches this weekend:   Saturday by Sharkline (Chicken-n-Chips), and Sunday by Al and Melanie Santosuosso – Pools By Us Plus (Uno’s Chicago Grill).
