► We got a Report Card back from Denise T. of Manchester, NH. Denise says her shopping experience with us was excellent in every way; she gave high ratings for general experience, sales help, operations, communication, and our products! She gave Stephanie extra high ratings, with her knowledge of everything we sell. Denise did have one piece of advise on how we could improve though, which was to “never use MBP Enterprises” who she found in our contractor book.
► Advertising changes Sunday November 12 to Family Fun Specials, but everything else remains the same.
► We are creating a new Olhausen Special Order Book, with retails (Rush and Next Truck) on many more items. We are removing the table and shuffleboard prices from the Program Book. You can now price tables from their online BYOT Program (you can get there from our website), though you REALLY need to learn how to do it. Separately, we’ll give you an update of lead times this season. You have two weeks to learn how to use the book and the Olhausen website to price an Olhausen special order table. How?
- Create our stock custom tables on the old BYOT program and using the book. How does that compare to our stock price? How do they compare to each other?
- Make up a few tables on our program – make them over $5000 with custom rails, sites, and legs. Then do it using the book.
- Show Mia your work. We are going to remove the program from the computer on November 27th.
► From Anne-Marie: We’ve added a color copier to the back office. I’ve added it as a printer on some of the PC’s in the store. Simply pick the printer “Konica Minolta C368”. It defaults to one-sided black ink when it prints. If you need to change it to color, you can do so before printing. Please call either Maggie or me before sending any print jobs out back, in case we are printing on special paper. Please let me know of any questions. Thanks.
► Events during the next couple of weeks:
November 18: Happy November Birthday Ryan. Celebrate with birthday cake in the coffee shop, while it lasts.
November 23: Closed Thanksgiving, so we can all be with our families.
November 22-26: Black Friday, Plaid Friday, and Small Business Saturday. Doorbusters!
► Laughter The Best Medicine: Lice was detected on a student at my grandson Ryan’s school, and the teacher told the girls in Ryan’s first-grade class to wear their hair in a bun to discourage the lice. Needing clarification, Ryan asked, “A hot dog bun or a hamburger bun?” – Pauline Kettleborough Churubusco, Indiana
