► Customer Feedback: A Seasonal Service Repair report card was received from customer Ryan B. of Milford, NH. He rated us Excellent on all points. “Paul is excellent. Polite. Courteous. Answered my call on a Sunday! I like your store and like that I hear you treat employees well.”
► New promotions, specials, and advertising start Sunday, October 2nd: “Hot Fall Sale”. This month’s color is purple.
► The Napoleon mail-in rebates ended yesterday; September 30th.
► October Events:
October 1: Winter store hours start: Mon, Tues, Wed 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Thu, Fri 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Sat 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sun 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
October 15: Happy Birthday Allison & Sarah: FREE birthday cake in the coffee shop, while supplies last.
October 29: Anne-Marie has her fifteenth Anniversary: Have some anniversary cake in the coffee shop while supplies last.
October 25-31: Halloween’s coming. Trick-or-Treat for some Halloween candy here, while supplies last.
► No liquid chlorine deposit mistakes, refunds without customer names, cash refunds over $50 without manager approval, or warranty items without customer names. I think this is the first time ever! GREAT JOB!
► I found a few renderings of our original building design in Jeanne’s office. One is on the lunchroom wall. Note that our building was supposed to have more towers, and I deleted them when I saw how much they would cost. The first strip mall building, shown, came close to the road, in Friday’s parking lot. The second strip mall building, not shown, went back to the Dollar Tree and Staples. What ultimately happened is that the development next door offered to buy some of our land in order to make Meadow Brook Crossing larger, just a few months before we were going to start construction.
► The new Game Table Program Page shows the program as we expect it to be. However, many of the new tables will probably not be here for over a month. The October Game Table Sale page, though, only shows tables in stock or due very soon.
► The two demo hot tubs are now running on @ease. BE VERY CAREFUL in testing, DO NOT add chlorine or shock without a manager’s approval.
► Remember, during the winter, we will extend the return policy on automatic pool cleaners to start next Memorial Day.
► I have removed the Dealer Supplied Foam Option from the Complete Spa Package. I’m not sure when or if we will offer it again. It would appear that there is not much interest in offering it, and it would take too much work to develop another way to do it.
► From Anne-Marie: I am back from medical leave. I know a lot of you have saved notes and tasks for me, but please be patient. I am only working part-time for a while until I regain my strength. It’s good to be back!
