Jul. 272015

BLue rhino slate tileFire pits are again, HOT, HOT, HOT and this year will be no different!  We will have an extensive lineup of fire pits, both propane and wood burning, from Blue Rhino at a nice mixture of price points.  We’ll start with the propane fire pits according to price with the Slate Tile. This 30” square fire pit has a square tile top and open weave sides in a black finish. This fire pit will retail for $399 and comes standard with lava rocks.

The next fire pit is a Black Slate Mantel which is a 32” square fire pit with a solid black slate tile mantel top and solid black aluminum sides.  This will retail for $499 and will include black fire glass.

Next up is the larger size Square Slate fire pit which will retail for $829.  This 42” square fire pit will feature a multi colored slate top, faux gas logs and include a protective storage cover.

The cousin to the Square Slate fire pit is the Hexagon Slate Tile fire pit.  This 56” hexagon shaped pit with an open weave sides will feature a handcrafted multi colored slate top and black fire glass.  This fire pit will retail for $1,099 and it will be our top of the line Blue Rhino propane fire pit.

Our next fire pit will be our opening price point wood burning fire pit and it is the Slate Mesh and it will retail for $199.  This fire pit is 35” wide and features a black powder coated finish, mesh outside mantel and includes a spark arrestor.

The next fire pit is the Stars & Moon.  This 30” fire pit will retail for $219 and features an oil rubbed Bronze finish with a Stars & Moon designed carved in the sides.  This fire pit will come with a spark arrestor, removable cooking grid and fireplace tool.

The last wood burning fire pit from Blue Rhino is the Slate & Faux WoodThis 34” round fire pit features a multi colored hand crafted slate mantel surrounded by a faux wood rim.  This will retail for $319 and will come standard with a spark arrestor.

We will also be stocking two propane outdoor patio heaters.  One is a Table Top version that can be placed directly on a table and features up to 11,000 BTU’s, covers a heat diameter of 10 feet and will retail for $199.  The second heater is a Commercial heater that features up to 40,000 BTU’s, covers a heat diameter of up to 20 feet and will retail for $599.  The commercial heater is discontinued and when sold out will be switched over to a new, less expensive model.

Please note that when customers call regarding any issues that they are having with their Blue Rhino propane fire pit they should be immediately directed to Blue Rhino.  Blue Rhino would prefer to trouble shoot any customer issues directly with the customer.  They do not like playing whisper down the lane and would prefer to speak directly with the customer and not the retailer.  Since these fire pits involve propane gas they want to speak to the person who is actually standing in front of the fire pit to trouble shoot any mechanical issues they may be having. When customers call please have them call Blue Rhino directly and speak to their customer care department at (800) 762-1142. Also note that Blue Rhino does not want them to return their product to us for repair.  They would prefer to handle any issues directly with the customer and not with a retailer!

DANCOOK/SABER

thumbs_85051-Dancook-9000-lifestyle-shot-(2)_jpg_500x313_q100_crop_sharpen_upscaleA new introduction this season is a Dancook  9000 fire pit made by Dancook in Denmark and distributed by Saber grills here in the USA. This contemporary looking fire pit can be used with either wood or charcoal and is made of 304 stainless steel and features painted aluminum tubular legs and a one piece triangular frame for sturdiness. The fire pit will come with a 6MM chromium plated grid with easy to lift handle (great for cooking burgers on), a spark guard and heavy duty fire bowl cover. This fire pit will retail for $379 as a package price. The spark guard and fire bowl cover are normally sold separately but we will be including them in the package price at no charge.

HOMECREST

Homecrest continues to be a leader in innovative and creative designs!  We always enjoy visiting the Homecrest showroom because they always have something new and exciting to see.  This year Homecrest is focusing a large percentage of their attention on their extensive fire pit and fire table lines.  We have brought in four different fire pit designs and price points and we’ll consider Homecrest our special order fire pit designer.  Here is what we’ll have:

Lunar Chat-LocThe Lunar Chat is our first fire pit introduction.   This 42” octagonal fire pit will feature a leather embossed looking textured top and smooth aluminum side panels.  This fire pit will be shown in a two-tone finish with the top and frame in Cognac finish and the side panels in Nickel finish.  This fire pit will come with 20 lbs. of colored glass jewelry in color Cobalt. We will also include an aluminum burner cover in Cognac finish at no charge.  This fire pit will retail for $1,599. This unit will use a standard 20 lb. propane tank and feature 67,000 BTU’s.

The second fire pit is the Lunar Fusion.  This very cool looking fire pit will again feature a 42” leather embossed octagonal top & frame in finish Sedona with Galaxy side panels on a square base.  The Galaxy side panels look a little like paint splatter on a canvas in colors of cobalt blue, rust, red, orange and gray.  This firepit will come with 20 lbs. of colored glass jewelry in color Copper and we will also include a round burner cover in Sedona finish at no charge.  This fire pit will retail for $1,899 and uses a 20 lb. propane tank and features 67,000 BTU’s.

The third fire pit is the Aurora Stonegate.  This fire pit features a square aluminum base in finish Onyx and a durable faux stone Stonegate top in color Smoke.  We’ll show the fire pit with 20 lbs. of fire jewelry in color Starfire and included a round burner cover in Onyx finish at no charge.  We will also include at no charge a 20 lb. horizontal propane tank.  Please note that this LP tank is horizontal in shape (not vertical) like a standard tank.  Due to the shape of this fire pit a standard tank will not fit inside the cabinet and will require a horizontal tank to be used.  This tank is included in the price of the fire pit and cannot be sold separately.  This fire pit will retail for $2,299 and feature 67,000 BTU’s.

The fourth and final fire pit is the Aurora Icon.  This unusual looking, eye shaped fire pit is distinctively elegant and will feature a table top in a Quartz pattern with Sedona finish on the aluminum frame and side panels.  This fire pit will be sold individually for $ 2,799 and will be shown with the Lloyd Flanders Grand Traverse set. Based on the size (36” x 60”) and shape (eye) of this fire pit it will look stunning sitting with the Grand Traverse.  We will include in the price of the fire pit at no charge 20 lbs. of glass jewelry in Copper & Red, a round burner cover in Onyx finish, a vinyl all-weather storage cover (made in the shape of an eye) and a 20 lb. horizontal LP tank.  Again, this tank was purchased specifically for this fire pit and cannot be sold separately!

When special ordering fire pits Homecrest has created a fire table ordering guide with pictures and options that you can fill out with your customer during the ordering process.  This will guide you through all of your options and allow you to not forget anything when placing an order.  There are so many options available in their fire pit line and I strongly suggest that you fill out this form when special ordering a fire pit so you don’t forget any pertinent information.  These forms will be found in the back of the Homecrest price list.

NAPOLEON

We will continue to stock two outdoor patio heaters from Napoleon.  The Large size patio heater features 40,000 BTU’s, an all stainless steel construction, wheel kit, electronic ignition and a 22’ in diameter heat area.  This heater will retail for $799.

The second patio heater is a table top version that features 304 stainless steel with electronic ignition, 11,000 BTU’s, a high efficiency burner and an adjustable output. This table top version will retail for $179.

MEADOWCRAFT

Wood burning pitThe last new item this season from Meadowcraft is a 42” Wood Burning Fire Pit.   We have had some difficulty finding a sturdy, masculine looking fire pit that you can load up with wood and turn into a “Man Sized” bonfire.  We think this fire pit will finally fit the bill.  This fire pit is made of all wrought iron and it is 42” wide and 42” deep so it will hold a good amount of wood.  We’ll retail this fire pit for $749 and it will be shown in a Charcoal finish.

PATIO RENAISSANCE

To be displayed with the Del Mar sectional we have brought in a 36” round fire pit called Tahoe.  The fire pit top is made of glass fiber reinforced concrete in color Savaged Lumber and the woven fire pit base is shown in a Dark Mahogany finish.  This fire pit features a stainless steel burner, sliding holder for the propane tank, air mixer for less carbon monoxide and 67,000 BTU’s.  The fire pit will also come with a round burner cover lid in a Textured Black finish.

We will stock again this year the Farnham fire pit.  This fire pit is a 36” x 58” rectangular aluminum slat top propane fire pit that will retail for $1,649.  It features stainless steel burners, a sliding holder for the propane tank, air mixer for less carbon monoxide and it puts out 67,000 BTU’s.  The fire pit is shown in a Cork finish and this year we will include a rectangular burner cover lid at no charge.
